Another Monday is here. Another week to move your life’s work forward. 

If you feel overwhelmed or directionless, here’s what you can do:

1) Before starting any work, set aside 30 minutes and think deeply about what can be your unique contribution to your organisation or cause. What is it that you can disproportionately impact, that no one else can do? 

2) Once the purpose is clear, which are the biggest priority for this week that desperately need your undivided attention? Biggest priority = the set of actions that will maximise the progress in the direction of your purpose. 

3) Once the priorities are clear, block time for them on the calendar and do not negotiate with your calendar from thereon. 

4) For the priorities, identify immediate next steps (INS) and get going. Don’t worry about anything else. All else is noise. 

5) At the end of the day, reflect on the day. 

Tomorrow, start from step 1 and repeat.
