The next time you are faced with a possibly life-altering choice (choice of life partner, career, location etc), where you feel that it is a critical fork in the road or as Bezos calls it a ‘one-way door’, always look for a full-bodied yes.
What’s a ‘full-bodied yes’? It is not a ‘maybe’. It is not a ‘seems interesting’. It is not a ‘worth trying’. It is not even just a ‘yes’.
👉 It is a yes that has agreement from head, heart and gut. (Analysis, emotion and intuition).
It is a ‘fuck yes!’, with that exclamation at the end.
Look for that full-bodied yes. You will know when you will have it. Even in times of taking risk, even with butterflies in your stomach, even in the face of possible failure, you will know it. If you don’t, it is a no. Keep exploring.
